Post Helene
This year has been one of many twists and turns. It seems the circumstances in so many people’s lives are triggering pain from our deepest wounds. The chaos can seem like a disgrace, however, can also be perceived as the perfect catalyst for growth and change. We don’t often know what lies beneath the surface or in our subconscious recesses until external circumstances mirror it back to us.
It is possible to experience peace in the midst of a storm, regardless of what is going on around us. Doing inner-work to include somatic work, inner-child healing, shadow work, hypnosis, and subconscious belief repatterning are powerful and effective transformation tools to help you access the peace and love that is your true nature.
I often say, we can do this the easy way or the hard way. The inner-work I mentioned is not for the faint-hearted and requires us to look within, feel into, and heal the places that are vulnerable. While this does require effort and investment, it is easier than carrying years of baggage around or continually avoiding circumstances that “punch our buttons.” The inner-work is the pathway to inner-freedom, peace, love, and joy.
My life has had its share of changes too. Following a move across the United States from Kansas to the mountains of North Carolina I lost two senior pups within 6 weeks of our arrival. Shortly after that my town was deeply affected by Hurricane Helene and is still recovering. Loss of electricity, running water, cell service, and Wi-Fi went on for weeks (our water was not safe for drinking and showering for almost two months post hurricane). I was fortunate not to have experienced the damage or loss to my home, family and friends that many others did. Regardless, the circumstances could be considered a trauma to anyone here and in the surrounding areas.
I have never been so thankful for the inner-work I have done over the years, which created a solid foundation that kept me out of fear and in my peace throughout the challenging events. There is much recovery work to be done within Asheville and the surrounding towns. Many need help healing from the individual and collective trauma from the events. Regardless of the situation, I’ve had a deep knowing that this is where I need and want to be. The opportunities to serve continue to unfold. I am in immense gratitude for the miraculous human will, the unity consciousness of Western North Carolina, and for the love and support of many as we rebuild.
Over the coming months and years, I’m sure we will see many structures collapsing, unforeseen changes, and surprising turn of events. There has never been a more important time to take the responsibility to heal ourselves, which in turn helps heal humanity and the planet. It’s all connected and you are an important piece of the puzzle. It’s an inside job and it starts within YOU!
It would be an honor to assist you in your healing journey if you are ready to experience profound and lasting change in your body, mind, and soul.
